BIOGRAPHY

She was born in Istanbul in 1965. She graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Literature in 1986. She pursued her professional career in Eska Construction Company from 1986 to 1990. Between 1990 and 1995, she proceeded with her career by designing and manufacturing accessories for the leading textile companies in Turkey.
From 2002 to 2007 she initiated her painting studies with Sadık Babeyev, an Azerbaijani artist, and continued with Bahattin Odabaşı.
From 2007 to 2010 she collaborated with ceramic artists, Şerif Günyar and Ayfer Karamani.
In 2010, she started her sculpture studies in the Atelier of Yusuf Tonkuş in Beyoğlu. Besides her ongoing studies, she began to experiment with glass in Atelier Sungar in Zekeriyaköy. Furthermore, she took part in various workshops run by Frantisek Janak, Pilar Aldana Mendez, Altan Sungar, and Vladimir Klein in the Foundation of Glass Furnace and continued working in her art studio in Ömerli.
